This project was commissioned to be included in the new office building of Gardere and Wynne, a law firm in Downtown Dallas.
I started by blowing a clear glass globe- gradually allowing gravity to morph the sphere until each was unique in design. The globes are created in a wide variety of sizes and shapes to ensure originality.
After carefully selecting a grouping of twelve globes from the ones I had created-I continued on to silvering the interior of the shapes. Mixing silver nitrate and pouring it into the globe created a thin layer of silver within the inside of the globe.
